Donnie was always a character. He used to drive my son, Brian, home from football practice. They were always running out of gas and I had to go take them gas to wherever they were. I would scold them and he was always so apologetic, then would say something to make me laugh. I couldn't stay mad at him. I was very, very sad to hear that he had passed. Rest in Peace, Donnie.

Donnie.... I few weeks ago I was having a bad day and you told me to look up at the sky. At that moment, I stopped everything I was doing. I went outside.took a deep breath, and looked up into the bright cerulean sky. I instantly felt at peace and was able to forget everything that was bringing me down, and I was grateful for those simple words. Even though you probably didnt know it..you brought me back to reality, and reminded me of what really matters, and not to stress over the little insignificant things. Im just happy to have known Donnie for the short time I have been in his family... But will always cherish all the GOOD times we have spent during the last few years including our vacation trip to Las Vegas NM the drive there, joking and talking the whole way... the snoring in the hotel room lol(couldnt sleep between him and lonnie sounded like 2 trains..)... and just the time we cant bring back now.. but was so much enjoyed!
