Obituary of LeRoy Glen West

LeRoy Glen West, 72, of Colorado Springs, Colorado was born to the late Henry and Helen (Naranjo) West and passed away November 5, 2010 after a lengthy illness.He loved fishing, hunting and music. He and his brother, Larry had their own Country Western band. It was pure joy to listen to them sing and play. They were a lot of fun and loved by all. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.LeRoy's career started with North American Airways in the Apollo Space Program where he stayed for 20 years. Later in his career, he became a construction project manager. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. LeRoy is survived by his two daughters, Diane West and Dawn Bayless; two brothers, Joseph West and Alfred West; four sisters, Mary Edwards, Betty Stratton, Jeanie Johnson and Penny Wuelfing; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Cynthia Elizabeth; brothers, John H. West and Larry A.
