Obituary of William J. Martin, Jr.

Billy was born August 23, 1954 in Buffalo, New York and lived in Elma, New York where he graduated from Iroquois High School in 1972. He then attended Alfred Technical Institute where he graduated as a Designer Draftsman.He went to work for Kodak, NASA and after moving to Colorado Springs in 1985 he worked for Cray Computers and the United Stated Air Force Academy from where he retired.Billy was a car enthusiast and enjoyed his many cars and also enjoyed traveling.He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy E. Martin.Billy is survived by his father, William J. Martin, Sr.; brother, Thomas J. (Dawn) Martin; sisters, Karen (Edward) Cowley and Bettina (Carl) Little and his nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 3:00PM-6:00PM, Thursday, November 11, 2010 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue.A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM, Friday, November 12, 2010 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 9 El Pomar Road; interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S.
