Carroll Frederick GriesSeptember 2, 1923 – December 1, 2010Carroll Gries was born September 2, 1923 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Julius and Florence (Becker) Gries. He passed away December 1, 2010 in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his family by his side.Mr. Gries was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. His name is on the National World War II Memorial in Washington DC. Mr. Gries was a loving husband, father and grandfather and cherished the time spent with his family.
