Obituary of Henry William Sadewater, Jr.

Henry W. Sadewater, Jr.March 31, 1926 - January 2, 2011Henry W. Sadewater Jr., 84, was born March 31, 1926 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Henry and Docia Mae (Finley) Sadewater. He died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a swimming champion at East High School and attended the University of Iowa. He married Audrey Albrechtson on July 1, 1946 and they shared 56 years until her passing in 2002. Henry was an avid racing pigeon fancier. He owned Sadewater Electric Co. with his father. Later he worked as an electrical foreman for the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Henry is survived by his daughters, Janice (Bill) Kelley of Bradenton, Florida and Jill (Michael) Schlickman of Colorado Springs; brother, Ronald (Vivian) Sadewater of Rockford and sister, Nancy (George) LeBlanc of Deerwood, Minnesota; grandchildren, Bill Kelley, Todd (Erin) Kelley, Michael, II (Heather) Schlickman, and Holly (Ben) Binger; seven great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Fred (Sharon) Albrechtson, and sister-in-law, Eleanor (Albrechtson) Harezlak and many nieces and nephews.
