I grew up right next door to Tussi and I have to say that she was not only a mother to two loving sons, but to a whole neiborhood!!! She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help others when she could! The one thing that she was known for was she was the dr on our block! No she didn't have a medical degree but she could and did fix anything that came her way, from stubbed toes, splinters, scrapes, sunburns and whatever else we crazy kids did! Boy when I think about the money in band aids that we owed her!!! We could always count on a Popsicle when she was done! Tussi was such a special friend she was and will be missed by so many!!! I love you so very much Tussi thank you for leaving me with such great memories!!! Love Nikki (new shoes)

Please know that Tusie was a large part me, even though I didn't get to see her as often as I had wished to. She was my mother when my own wasn't up to the task and remained the one woman that I considered my mom. My favorite thing about her was that she never let me get away with anything and loved me despite my wackiness. She helped me to become a good woman. I will miss her forever, as I am sure that you all will. God's blessing to all in her family. Julie

Years ago there lived a young couple w/3 children. The daughter had a playmate in the neighborhood but the sons did not until a young blonde haired mother of 2 moved from FL. She looked after each child as if they were her own. Her kindness was unending. As the children grew up she found ways to show her love. For her boys she was excited for grandchildren & went out & bought her "grandma van" and car seats so she could take them for ice cream & McDonalds. For a boy from the neighborhood she threw a surprise wedding reception w/cake flowers & food, she called family & friends & hosted a wonderful event. This woman was my best friend Tusie. She was loved by all who knew her & we will never forget her sweet smile, funny wit, bear hugs, what she taught me about motherhood, & loving others. Her kindness & gentleness can never be replaced. She'd do anything for us & never ask for anything but love for each other in return. She loved her God, her family, her dogs, us & life and we loved her.

Tusie was such a loved woman with an amazing spirit. She always treated me like one of her kids and I loved her dearly. A piece of my heart went with her when she went into the arms of the lord. I know you are no longer suffering and though I didn't get to see much of you in the past few years you were never far from my heart. I love u Tusie and will never forget the pistol that you were. One of the many things I loved about you. Robert, Tina, Jack, Jack Jacy, Steve, Sherri, Culley and Cody I am so sorry for your loss and I love you all!

Our prayers to her family who she loved dearly. Tusie and I had such fun organizing her house before her surgery. I have such great memories of us laughing and makeing jokes about ourselves and what we kept in all kinds of places. She even made doing our taxes fun! Who else could do that? We will miss her. God Bless

To my precious sister dearest, I cannot imagine my life without you in it. We have traveled this journey together through the good times and the bumps in the road. I ache to the very core of my being knowing that I will never hear your laughter here on school earth again, but I know that the day will come when we will be able to pick huckleberries together on the other side. My brain knows you are at peace now, but my heart hasnt gotten the message yet. I hear that is the longest distance known to mankind the distance between the head and the heart. My condolences to Robert, Tina, Jack, Steve, Sherri, Culley, along with my brave and wonderful daughter who lovingly took care of her Aunt Tusie, who she adored, during Tusies final days. I know you are all in shock and full of grief. I will hold you close to my heart and pray for all of us to come to terms with Tusies departure.

I will always love my little sister and miss her even more. The last time I saw or spoke with Tusie was at Grandma Roses funeral on August of 2001. I wish we could have been a part of each others lives more, but respect that was not Tusies wishes. Now she is with the lord and finally at peace. My condolences to my nephews and nieces and their families in their time of sorry.
