Obituary of Melvin Gust Schissler

Melvin Schissler, 80, was born October 22, 1930 to the late Gustave and Emma Elizabeth (Stier) Schiessler in Herndon, Kansas. He passed away January 28, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Melvin worked for Phil Long Ford in the parts department and owned Alley Performance Center and loved to go Square Dancing.He is survived by his daughters, Corrine Gantt and Valerie Ann Griffin; eight grandchildren, Adam Baltrunas, April Marie Griffin, Tobias Bonfiglio, Vanessa Rose Griffin, Benjamin Gantt, Brian Robert Griffin, Peter Gantt and Emma Olivia Gantt; three great grandchildren, Miles Orion, Mykala Bruce and Melody Griffin; and good friend and dance partner, Marge Swearingen.Private services will be held at a later date.
