Janice Faye MatheniaSeptember 21, 1952 - February 2, 2011Janice Faye Mathenia, 58, was born September 21, 1952 in Plant City, Florida to the late James Wilburn and Neta Jeannette (Eldridge) Green. She passed away February 2, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for over 35 years.Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Janice also enjoyed working in her yard and doing things outdoors but in particular she loved horses. She was the family's own "Mr. Fix It" in that she seemed to be able to fix just about anything. She will be missed by all that knew her.She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Albert Mathenia; children, Nannette Mathenia and Petey Mathenia and wife Monique; step daughters, Shawna Prather, Tina Mathenia and Crystal Gonzalez; grandchildren, Chance Mathenia, Alyia Mathenia, Mackenzie Mathenia and Jace Mathenia; step grandchildren, Levi Prather, Shaina Prather, Tyler Mathenia, Isaiah Gonzalez, Helena Gonzalez and David Moyer; brothers, Glen Green and Jimmy Green; and sisters, Jonnie Green-Stubbolo and June McWilliams.Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, February 4, 2011 at The Springs Funeral Services. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Victory World Outreach, 3150 S. Academy Boulevard.
