Obituary of Terrance P. Atherton

Terry P. AthertonJuly 13, 1949 - February 19, 2011Terry P. Atherton, 61, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 19. To many he was known as "Pops", "Papa Pig", or "the old man" who ran Earth Pig Music, a new and used record store on the west side of Colorado Springs. An avid music collector from the age of 13, he opened the small music store after his retirement from The United States Army in 1992. To many he was considered more than just the owner of Earth Pig Music; he was a friend, always up for witty banter, a game of golf, and sharing his extensive knowledge of all things music.
