Obituary of Rene Ortivez

Rene OrtivezApril 16, 1961 - March 2, 2011Rene Ortivez was a great person with a big, loving heart. She was a trainer and fitness coach at Curves. She loved helping people, cooking, working outside and astrology. Most of all Rene loved spending time with her two children and her grandson. There was never a dull moment with her. Rene passed away March 2nd at Memorial Hospital with family and friends by her side.She is survived by her mother, Louise Ortivez; son, Rudy Ortiz; daughter, Ashley Ortiz (Michael Gutierrez); Kenny Ortiz, father of Rudy and Ashley; grandson, Jr. Gutierrez; fianc�, Tony Kopp; sisters, Dottie Ortivez (Colby Veil), Lea Evangelista (Ed) and Sharon Points (Phillip); 5 nieces, 3 great nieces, 5 nephews, and 2 great nephews.She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Ortivez and her brother, Natal Ortivez.Services will be held Friday March 11, 2011 at Divine Redeemer Church.
