Obituary of Mitchell Najib Kelloff, Sr.
Mitchell, 98, was born on September 8, 1912 in Black Diamond, Colorado to Najib George Kelloff and Susan Bakash, he died on March 13, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He served in the US Navy during World War II and participated in the Battles of Coral Sea, Midway and the Battle of the Atlantic.Mitchell was a member of the Motion Picture Theater owners in Southern Colorado and a founding member of the Pioneers of Motion Picture Industry. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Pueblo for many years. He is survived by his wife, Myrna, children; Mitchell, Jr., Edward, Phillip & Constance and a brother; George. He leaves behind his grandchildren;, Neva, Nicholas, Annalise, Zack, Graham, & Sarah, along with numerous nephews and nieces.In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in Mitchells' memory be made to the American Heart Association, Southwest Affiliate, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, Texas 75284-1125 (pre-addressed envelopes are available at the funeral home).A Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
