Obituary of Scott Brandner
Scott Brandner passed away unexpectedly at his home in Monument on March 28, 2011. Scott was born May 17, 1960 in Wolf Point, Montana to Delano and Judy Brandner. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1978. He enlisted and served 7 years in the U.S. Army. He was also a Deputy Sheriff for El Paso County for ten years until he medically retired in 1999.Scott had many hobbies including, woodworking, hunting, fishing, mountain biking and anything outdoors. He attended New Life Church and played the part of a Roman Centurion in "The Thorn,." He learned a devotion to God, his country, and service to others in the Boy Scouts and earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout. This devotion was evident in his service as a paratrooper and deputy.Scott loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Brandner, daughters Amanda and Katie, mother Judy Linville, siblings Kelly, Jim, Lori and Cindy, grandchildren Joni Anne and Kaiden, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Delano Brandner, and infant sister Debbie. Scott will be truly missed by all those that knew him and loved him. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2011 at New Life Church in the World Prayer Center. 11005 Voyager Parkway.
