Obituary of Evan T. Carlton

Evan Carlton, 80, a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many passed away on March 28, 2011. Evan was born in Vietnam and has resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado for the past 40 years.She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 19 years, William Carlton.She is survived by six children: sons, Roland Flade and George Carlton and daughters, Colette Rose, Anne O'Connell, Jacqueline Carlton and Janet Carlton; and nine grandchildren, Erik, Adam, Brian, Nicholas and Kellie O'Connell, Trevor Lloyd, Justyn Fitz, Theo and Arthur Flade.Evan worked hard at everything she did. She worked mostly in manufacturing/assembly for many years.She enjoyed gardening, fishing, knitting, crocheting, cooking……. She was an extremely strong, smart and independent woman with a kind heart, warm smile and a great sense of humor. Respected, loved and admired by many, Evan will be truly and deeply missed.Evan will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at The Springs Funeral Services chapel at 3115 E.
