Kenneth (Kenny) L. PetaniJanuary 17, 1956 – April 23, 2011Beloved Father, Husband, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Soldier and FriendKenneth was born January 17, 1956 in Ogden, Utah the son of Donald Schoechert and Patricia Strode and passed on April 23, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kenny served in the Unites States Army during Desert Shield / Desert Storm and worked as a certified welder at Fort Carson. He enjoyed his hobbies of riding his Harley, camping, fishing and the Denver Broncos. He loved being with his family and especially loved to give the biggest bear hugs. He was a very caring and easy going person.Kenny was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Strode and is survived by his wife, Connie Petani, Children, Jason Petani (Christina), Amanda K. Petani-Pitt (William), Joseph Hickox (Kalee), Glen Hickox (Heather) & Michelle Prothero.Grandchildren; Killian, Kira, Aryana, Riley, Ashlynn, Samantha, Matthew, Tara, Johnathan, and Mark. He is also survived by his father, Donald Schoechert, his brother, Keith Petani, sisters; Karen Schoechert & Kathy Medine, nieces, Tiffany, Brandie, Katie and Meghan and his nephew, Mike.Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday April 29, 2011 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
