Obituary of Keith Lyndell Nutt

Keith Lyndell Nutt(Colonel, USAF, Retired)June 2, 1938 – April 24, 2011Keith was born June 2, 1938 in Santa Anna, Texas and went to be with his Lord on April 24, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He served in the US Air Force from May 1960 to July 1989 and retired as a Colonel, he was a member of the Military Officers of America. He retired from the Civil Service in 1999 and also worked as a tax consultant and helped establish Home General Tax Service in Colorado Springs. During his career with the Air Force he worked at NORAD and on the software for the Gemini Space Project and assisted with the software for the Apollo Lunar Landings.He earned his private pilot's license was an active bridge player and enjoyed playing tennis and chess.Keith married Verna Ruth Liles in December 1961 and together they had 4 children.He is survived by his children; Pamela K. Kaan, Roger K. McKnight, Roy K. Nutt & Kenneth W. Nutt, Grandchildren; Ben Kaan, Jessica Ryff, Josiah Kaan, Ana Culpepper, Corrissa Gahren, Amanda McKnight, Sam McKnight, Sean McKnight, Simeon Kaan & Great-grandchildren; Elijah Kaan and Stella Kaan.Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
