Franklin Peter MestasSeptember 3, 1945 � May 9, 2011Frank was born to Pete and Petra Mestas on September 3, 1945 in Denver, Colorado. He lived most of his life in California and joined the Marine Corps in 1965.February 8, 1972 he became a father to his first daughter, Michelle (Punky). November 30, 1974 he married the love of his life, Sandy, and gained a son, Robert (Bumper). Growing up an only child, Frank wanted a big family and so he continued to have more children:October 1, 1975 Anthony (Phatso)July 5, 1978 Venus (Shortcakes)July 4, 1979 Stephanie (Teffer)April 9, 1989 Lettica (Bop)April 13, 1990 Lil Robert (Grumpy)And in 1988 he gained another son, Jessie MatusAs the years went on he became a Grandpa of 11 grandkids: Krystal, Nicole, Desirae, Nathan, Raquel, Raylene, Briana, Anthony, Eric, Aiden and another granddaughter on the way.Frank loved being a husband, dad and grandpa! He also enjoyed doing the Lord�s work being involved in missionary work in Mexico, Convalescent and Street Ministries.
