Obituary of Sandra Lee Flowers

Sandy Flowers, age 57, was born November 21, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lamar and Martha Jane (Neel) Register. She passed away May 14, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Sandy worked at Ft. Carson Army Post as a Food Service employee and for Cheyenne Mountain Security as a Security Guard. She particularly enjoyed working security at the Sky Sox baseball games.Sandy dearly loved her children, grandchildren, the children in her neighborhood and her chihuahua, Paws. She had a good sense of humor and loved having a cup of coffee and a cigarette with her many friends. Sandy also enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger, Little House on the Prairie, Dancing with the Stars and old movies, especially, The Sound of Music.She is survived by her mother, Jane Register; daughter, Shawna Shannon Adams; son, James Shannon; her favorite niece, Deborah Ackers (Willie); sisters.
