Pastor Joe was such a strong man of Our Lord and ready to give of all his time and strength to any avenue of the Lord'S work. He reached out to so many even outside of his own congregation. I was one who received prayer for my illness & prayers of blessings from brother Dave-and this is a special memory from the time I lived in Colorado Springs!.....Barbara Williams of San Antonio, Texas.

My heart goes out to the Malacara family and any other individuals who may have been lucky enough to have experienced the great man that many have come to know as Pastor Joe. Pastor Joe and his family stood by my side when many others would have walked away. He helped me out throughout the years despite the amount of aggravation i may have caused him, and it is for that reason among many others that i am proud to say that i knew him.Thank you for everything Pastor Joe,.....you will be missed.

Joe was more than a "cousin" - He was a brother and a faithful Servant of our Lord. His ministry touched hundreds in youth and men's as he ministered in camos and reatreats here in Texas. We are persuaded of his reward in heaven. Pastor Dino Espinoza - Templo Emanuel in Crystal City, Texas

Pastor Joe, A long time coming to say what I've needed/wanted to say. I remember the night when I was 12 years old. My dad and mom singing and ministering at All Peoples Praise Center. I was on the drums, just waiting for the sermon by you. I knew it would be special for some reason. And it was. It was about healing. I remember I had so much faith thAt night I told brother Willie he would be healed and walk again. I escorted him, by his side into the wheel , chair to the front. You and others laid hands on him. He wasn't healed. He was still in a wheel chair and couldn't walk. That was one of many spurn faith moments for me. And since...after all the ministering and prophets whom prayed and prophecised over me....I've ran and shunned that call. ThAt bitter sweet anointing. And the other day I seen you....I remembered. In a d re ram I remembered the reality I blocked out because of my hate and anger towards God and the church. I recalled....You anointed me privately as I was stealing the anointing oil from the bottle on the piano...you caught me and said, "you can steal and sneak the anointing, but it only comes when your heart is ready.," then you anointed my head and blessed me...you asked GOD to follow me until I am ready. I am 32 years old...And I forgot you did that. But I have felt him beckoning me and by my side...I'm ready pastor.. I'm ready for it....I love you Pastor Joe..Thank you

Dear Isabel & family: "What a day it will be when my Jesus I shall see..." reminiscing to the words of that beloved old song, I can't help but think how Joe must be rejoicing. With that in mind we should be somewhat envious that he is where we want to be. Please be comforted in knowing that some day soon we will all have a grand reunion with our loved ones. Perhaps my Mom and Dad, and all of our aunts and uncles have started the "Padilla Reunion" beyond the pearly gates! As you begin a new chapter in your life please allow the Holy Spirit to be your comforter, your strength and your refuge. Thinking of you all and praying that you will find solace in the arms of Jesus. Love your cousin, Irene Scott
