Obituary of Vernon Clark Johnston

Vernon Johnston, age 42, was born February 14, 1969 in Greeley, Colorado to Kenneth and Betty (Haley) Johnston. He passed away July 20, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Vernon lived in several places including Germany Wyoming and Kansas due to his dad being in the Army. Vernon later joined the Kansas National Guard in Ft. Riley, Kansas and served four years as a Refrigeration Technician. Afterwards he worked as a stocker for Wal-Mart and then for Home Cleaners of America. He became disabled in November 2010.Vernon was very friendly and loved to talk and was very confident.He is survived by his 2 year old son, Andrew Johnston; parents, brothers, Kenneth L. Johnston and Roy Lee Johnston; and his "adoptive" brother, Anthony Sickich.
