John Raymond Martinez, Sr., age 76, passed away July 24, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born April 7, 1935 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late John Basque and Albinita Martinez. John was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado.John was an all around artist and craftsman. His significant work was done with stained glass, woodworking, painting, and drawing.He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cynthia Madline (Juntunen) Martinez; son, Dale Kever; brother, Chris Orozco; and sisters, Katie Kincade and Mary Villiages.John is survived by his sons, Johnnie R. Martinez, Jr. and Chris Gettle; brother, Frank Orozco and David M.
