To the family of Vivian, I just want to say I'm so sorry for your loss. I was stationed at Holloman as an SP and Vivian was one of my closest friends there. We were friends from day 1 when she arrived at the barracks. She was my voice of reason when I needed it. Always looked out for me when I was deployed. She really helped me through some tough times. I will always remember her, and always keep her in my heart!

I met Vivian because of working with her Dad in the Philippines. Vivian was a joy to talk to and I deeply feel the loss for her family. I just found out this morning and hope Tom and the family have pulled together to get through this difficult time. I am thankful to have known this great Air Force leader and kind-hearted person.

Words cannot express the hurt I felt after finding out what happened to Vivian. She was an amazing woman and dear friend that I looked up to. She had a great heart and a smile that could turn any bad day into a good one. I wish I spent more time with her, but I will always be thankful for the times we did share. My thoughts and prayers go out to Vivian's family as they deal with this difficult time. She is truly an angel and will be missed forever. Rest in peace my friend! Love you and miss you!!! ~Teesh

When I think of you, I remember all of living on A Street walking to the bus stop going to Van Buren and being neighbors on Kirtland AFB. I took it for granted that when I last saw you in Oklahoma years ago, that it would not be the last time. I am glad to have known you and proud of everything you have accomplished in life. Farewell, my friend. I salute you.

Vivian: I remember meeting you on the steps of the dorms with Jennifer. I was a little Amn and you were a big SrA! Back then, that rank difference meant something...But you didn't let that interfere with us becoming friends! The day I took over your programs, I said to you & the group, "I have big shoes to fill and I don't want to let you down!" Remember that? That was the moment I knew you were going to be an awesome leader (because you cried with pride!!!). I have always and will always admire your will & determination! I will never forget you!! I hope you forewarned the angels to wear earplugs...I don't think their tender ears are ready for your powerful voice!! :-) I love you & will miss you!!!

Very sad such a kindhearted person has been taken before she finished doing all her good! She made Halloween goodie bags for ALL of the kids in Big Brothers after school club (not just her Little). It made all the kids feel special! I remember thinking I needed to be as great of a Big Sister as she was! She really went above and beyond...sounds like she did that in all parts of her life. Sorry for your loss of an awesome person!

I knew Vivian while we were in the Air Force together at Holloman AFB, NM. She was a beautiful, nice, outgoing, and fun friend. She was also one of the most mature and professional airmen that I had ever met. I am so proud of all her accomplishments. I do remember her talking alot about her father. She seemed to really be close to him. My condolences to her family and may God help you through this difficult time.

Vivian, I remember so much about you. Your smile, your laugh and your amazing sense of humor. I also remember the day that you Christened my son Mark Jr. Unfortunately, he has never gotten to know you the way that I wish that he could have, and that is my fault. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in ourselves that we forget to keep in touch with those that we love and that mean so very much to us. Please tell Jennifer Mcgill hello and let her know that we miss her as well. The two of you up there together (well let's just say that I pray that God knows what he is in for (LOL)) Love you bunches mi corazon. Your friend LIsa Colebrook

As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ..... Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ..... To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We're thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.
