Obituary of Robert Carl Max Kordula

After a long and courageous fight with illnesses, Robert Carl Max Kordula passed away early Wednesday morning, August 10, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Born February 4, 1933 in Denver, Colorado to Rose (Hilderbrandt) and Robert J. Kordula, Bob graduated from North High School in Denver and went on to graduate from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.Bob was an educator in School District 11 in Colorado Springs for 30 years, most of this time at North Junior High School. He loved people and they loved him. Bob had many talents, his grandchildren would always say, "Grandpa can fix anything!" and he could, be it a broken necklace or maintenance on vehicles. Being an entrepreneur, Bob had many other interests. It made him extremely happy when he could entertain people of the community with his fireworks display shows (B&H Distributing Company) which he did for 30 years until his retirement in 2000. He sold Christmas trees and even had a worm farm!
