Obituary of Marinette M. Teague
Marinette peacefully passed from this world in to the presence of the Lord on September 6, 2011, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She joined her husband and four kids in the glory of God. Born in Poland, but raised in France, Marinette met her husband, Clifton, in France. He not only fell in love with her, but with her family and the French culture. One of their favorite past times was bowling.During their 23 years in the military, they lived in France for 2 tours, the Netherlands and retired in Big Spring, Texas. She worked for the city as an accountant. Marinette was always active serving others- Girl Scouts, raising money for abused children and especially cooking French food for her 3 grandchildren. Her strength shown through as her family miraculously survived WWII and she endured being struck by lightning. Her faith in the Lord sustained her.She is survived by her daughter, Nadine Melania Jackson, son- in- law, Gary Jackson, and three grandchildren: David, Sarah and Anna.Visitation will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Saint Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, 2770 North Chestnut Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado.Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2011 at Saint Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, 2770 North Chestnut Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
