Obituary of Melvin Warren Buller

In loving memory of Melvin Buller, born in Goessel, Kansas August 7, 1923.Melvin grew up as a farmer's son. As a young man he attended Bethel College in Newton, Kansas. After World War II, he worked on a freighter, taking a load of horses, and then a load of cattle to Europe.For twelve years he taught seventh and eighth grade science in Ulysses, Kansas, where he also drove a forty mile school bus route. It was in Ulysses, that he met and married Donice Brownlee Buller, his wife of fifty six years.In the early 1960's, they moved to Colorado Springs, where they both taught school. Melvin taught Introductory Physical Science at Air Academy Junior High. Donice taught elementary school in Colorado Springs. After forty years, Melvin retired from teaching.Melvin and Donice raised two daughters, Lorenza and Connie and had four grandchildren, Crystal, Carrie, Shamika and Ramsey; and three great grandchildren, Christian, Jason and Haylii.He is also survived by brother, Roy Buller.He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Margaret (Duerksen) Buller; brother, Jim Buller and grandson, Ramsey Jay.He loved the Lord and shared his faith with many.Melvin Buller went to be with the Lord September 28, 2011 and will be missed by all of us.
