Obituary of Rexalyn Ann Smith

Born to Rex and Edna Little on November 3, 1940 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They moved to Oklahoma City, attending and graduating from Northeast High School, and attended college. Rexalyn returned to Chickasha and married Curtis Smith, Jr. in 1961. They lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for nearly 40 years. She loved to travel. They also wintered in Texas and returned to Oklahoma.Rexalyn was co-owner in Little's Big and Tall Men's Shop and Smith's Penny Pincher. Rexalyn was active in missionary work in Mexico, the Red Hat Society, and support groups for military soldiers. She enjoyed planning parties and social functions for her family and friends. She attended Grace Community Fellowship in Sand Springs, OK.Rexalyn died October 1, 2011, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Rexalyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward Little. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Curtis Smith, Jr.; two children: Curtis L. (Stephanie) Smith and Lisa (James) Jones; 6 grandchildren, 13+ great grandchildren; sister Rita (Rudy) Bulmann; a very special niece and nephew Terri (Jay) Chandler and Tim (Lisa) Smith; and many more loved ones.A reception in Rexalyn's honor will be held October 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Cragmor Christian Reformed Church at 2515 Acacia, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
