Obituary of Bruce Evan Crow
Bruce Evans Crow, 49, passed away on October 17, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Bruce was born April 19, 1962 in Rawlins, Wyoming to David Crow and Pattie Evans Crow. He grew up on Cow Creek and in Saratoga until his graduation from Platte Valley High School in 1980. Bruce attended Willamette University and the University of Wyoming. He married Krisan Crow in Laramie, Wyoming on August 17, 1984. Their only child, Libby Crow, was born on April 30, 1987 in Laramie. Bruce and his family made their homes in Laramie, Sheridan, and Rock Springs. In Sheridan, Bruce taught middle school social studies. While in Rock Springs, he had his own insurance adjusting company and also taught at Independence High School. Bruce moved to Colorado Springs and started working for Lawson Products in 2007. He had many noteworthy achievements from starting his own business to being awarded for his dedication to Lawson. Mr. Crow was well loved by his students and had a true gift for teaching. He was well known for his generosity, humor, wit, and work ethic. Bruce was always cheering hard for his Pokes and often was able to get the crowd on their feet! Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Pattie and brothers, Steve and Mike. He is survived by his daughter Libby, father Dave and wife Barbara, step-sister Wendy, nephew Chris and wife Megan, niece Jenny, nephews Hayden, Kelten, Braxten and Dontae. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Saratoga Cemetery Pavilion. The family requests memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
