Obituary of Tom Ezzell
Tom EzzellOctober 13, 1930 - November 14, 2011Tom Ezzell, 81, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away at home Monday, November 14, 2011. He was born Oct. 13, 1930 in Strong City, OK. He served in the Korean War in 1951 receiving 2 Bronze Stars, Korean Service Medal and United Nations Medal at the rank of Staff Sgt.After returning from Korean service he was employed by Public Service Company in Lawton, OK for 19 years as a Materials Engineer. He then was a partner in Sesco Electric Supply Co. from 1973 to 1979. He owned Ezzell Electric Supply Company from 1979 to 1982, then sold his business to American Electric and retired.He was a Deacon at Central Baptist Church in Lawton, OK and a member of numerous civic clubs.He was a Mason for 51 years and a Shriner for 45 years.He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Ida Mae Ezzell, his oldest brother Adeen Ezzell and his youngest brother Bill Ezzell.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorraine, one daughter, Jeanna Reese of Pagosa Springs, one son, Jeff Ezzell of Colorado Springs and one son-in-law Mark Reese of Pagosa Springs.
