Obituary of Billy Wayne Ogburn, Sr.

Billy was born February 22, 1951 in Clarksville, TN to Wash and Katie Ogburn. Billy passed away peacefully November 23, 2011 in Colorado Springs, CO. He served in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1993. His biggest and most honorable accomplishment in life was being an outstanding father and grandfather; it could get no better than Papa. He took great joy in cooking for his loved ones, and loved nothing more than to see those he held dearest to his heart happy.He is survived by two sons; Billy Jr. and Alexander, one daughter; Alysia D. Sisneros, three grandchildren, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Wash and Katie Ogburn and a daughter; Esta Ogburn. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, December 1, 2011 with a funeral service following at 2PM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
