Obituary of Wilma Jean Fallang

Wilma Jean Falling, 78, of Colorado Springs, departed this earth for her heavenly home on Saturday, November 26, 2011 after a six month battle with cancer. She was a homemaker, breadwinner, and deeply religious person. She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Lyle W. Fallang, two sons Jeffrey W. Fallang and Charles A. (Karen) Fallang, two grandchildren, Cynthia M. Walker and Charles W. (Arielle) Fallang and two great grandchildren, Hayden and Kameron. She is also survived by her brother James Joe Wilder and sister Elizabeth Ann (Don) Greene, brother-in-law Albert (Juanita) Fallang and a sister-in-law Juanita Fallang. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and seven sisters. Wilma was born 24 September 1933 at Insull, Harlan County, Kentucky the daughter of Andrew J. Wilder, a coal miner, and Elizabeth Watkins. She married her husband in Fairborn, Greene County, Ohio on 23 June 1958. He was a career Air Force member and they traveled to many parts of the world until he retired in 1983. She made friends wherever the service moved them and was active in the church wherever they made their home. At her passing she was a member of Calvary Chapel Eastside.Visitation will be held 5PM-7PM, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
