Obituary of Edward Richard Jordan

Edward Richard Jordan was born February 25, 1924, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, and passed away at the Sunny Vista Living Center in Colorado Springs on January 26, 2012, at the age of 87.Eddie is survived by his wife of 65 years, Harriet, their daughter, Carrie Berry, and grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlyn, and Sarah. His sister, Marjorie Ward, resides in Florida.Edward served in the First Marine Division during WWII earning two Purple Hearts.He and Harriet married just after he was discharged from the Marines and they moved to Los Angeles where he attended Jr. College and USC. He then worked in a variety of sales positions. They moved to northern California where he owned a Winchell's Donut franchise and then to Loveland, Colorado, where he owned a used furniture and antique store.Edward loved golfing, waterskiing, and gambling.
