Oma was one of my dearest friends . We first met when we were in the fifth grade. I moved from Alamo mid-term of our freshman year. We stayed in touch for many years, but we both busy with our lives and the communication stopped. I have regretted for many years that I lost touch with her. she had a lovely family and they were great fun. She sent me school pictures of her children . She was so terribly proud of them. Rest in peace Oma. You are safe in the arms of our Lord Love., Ora

My Dearest Childhood Friends, I have so many wonderful & special memories of each of you and your sweet mother. I can close my eyes and hear Oma whistling ~ I have never heard such beautiful whistling in my life. I loved being in her home, hearing her laugh and talk. She could make me laugh so hard I peed my pants! I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to know Oma and to be a part of her family. I carry her influence in my life today and always. Thank you Nancy for her moving & beautiful eulogy. I pray that each of you ~ Tim, Nancy, Glen & Russell ~ will know that you have a dedicated & loving Mother waiting to embrace you with open arms. To my bright, effervescent, funny and dear dear friend from childhood - Oma Mae. My latest memory is such a treasure - how Oma, Kathy, & Alma all conspired to surprise me at the ElPaso airport - grinning from ear to ear - how we laughed & cut up on that wonderful starlit night all the way back to Alamo. What a beautiful memorial you wrote Nancy. I too loved your mom and dad. They were fun to be around. I have memories of them both. They are wonderful and I hope they are together again. To my favorite mother-in-law, Oma/Mom. You were the best 2nd Mom a son-in-law could ever have. As I was leaving her hospital room a couple of weeks ago, I was saying goodbye to her and she took a hold of my hand and said that I was one of the best men she had ever known. Well Mom, you were one of the best moms I have ever known. I will miss you something terrible!! Rest in Peace. I Love you. Your favorite son-in-law, Tim or Boz :)
