Obituary of Germaine Andouche Earl
We mourn the death, yet celebrate the life of a wonderful mother and dear friend Germaine Andouche Earl. Germaine was born September 24, 1933 in New York City, New York to the late Maurice Vosges and Eva Pearsie. She passed away quietly surrounded by her loving children on February 24, 2012.Germaine was an active member of the Columbine Temple #1053 Lodge I.B.P.O.E of W. in Colorado Springs CO, for over 35 yrs. She held the title of Brig. General, Past Grand Daughter Ruler & Financial Secretary for the Grand Lodge. Germaine also worked for Safeway Inc, in Widefield, Colorado for over 24 years when she retired from Safeway she and her husband, Wilson Earl, moved to Winter Garden, Florida to have "Fun in the Sun!" No matter where she was, Germaine stayed in touch with all her friends in the Elks as well as her customers from Safeway. She was diligent about sending out thank you notes and Christmas cards to all her friends and family. She also loved to travel, but her favorite place, by far, was Kauai Hawaii. After the passing of her husband, Wilson; Germaine moved to Vacaville, California to be closer to her son, Richard.Germaine was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson D. Earl; daughter, Deborah Cosper, her sister Viviane Vosges, and her brother Andre Vosges. She is survived by her siblings, Micheline Vosges, Jeannie Settles, Ernest Vosges, and Josianne Trahan; her children, Brenda McBride, Richard Baker, Germaine Walker, and Michael Earl. She is blessed with twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and endless numbers of dear friends both near and far. Germaine enjoyed nothing more than to be surrounded by friends and family. She will be missed by all. The most striking comment that is heard by those who knew her was that she brightened up the room when she arrived and gave hope to all those around her. We will miss her energy, her kindness, her strength, and her ray of light. Most of all, we will be grateful for a life well lived.Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday March 10, 2012 at the Springs Funeral Services Chapel, 3115 E.
