Obituary of Randel Gene Platkus

Randy Platkus, 49, of Ellicott, CO, loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Ellicott, CO.Randel Gene Platkus was born to Rex and Barbara Platkus on December 23, 1962 in Fort Carson, CO.He is survived by his wife, Teresa Platkus, sons, Chris James Randel Platkus and Randall Gean Platkus Jr. Randy is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Platkus and Duane Swenson, his sister Rexalyn Struensee and her children, Donelle and Donnie Struensee, his mother, Barbara Platkus, and his grandfather, JB Bertrand. As well as being survived by many other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.Randy was preceded in death by his father, Rex Platkus, his grandparents, Wadyslow and Tennessee Platkus, his grandmother, Agnes Bertrand, and his aunts Ileen Owen, Anna Sue Osbourne, and Beatrice Favot.The Celebration of Randy's Life will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1pm, at The Cowboy Church of Peyton, 15504 Bradshaw Rd. Peyton, CO. The celebration will continue after the service with a dinner for all family and friends at the same location.
