Obituary of Robert Drayton Holland

Robert Drayton Holland was born October 24, 1923 in Murchison, Texas and passed away February 28, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is survived by his wife Marlene, a daughter Deborah Kwiatkowski, a son Jerry D. Holland, grandchildren; Leslie, Sunny Marlene, Megan, Lindsey, and Jason, Joshua, and Wesley Keegan and several great grandchildren.Robert is preceded in death by his daughter Bobbie Nell Parker and her two children and two brothers Edward and Walter Holland.Robert was a pipeline welder working for companies out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a member of Pipeliners Union 798 for over 60 years. He moved to Ohio in December 1954 and married Marlene in October 1955. Robert was a member of the Fremont Baptist Temple in Fremont, Ohio. He was a good provider and worked all over the country as a welder which he learned in the shipyards of California. Robert moved to Colorado Springs two years ago.Graveside services will be 11:30 am Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Crystal Valley Cemetery at the end of Plainview Place, Manitou Springs, Colorado.
