Obituary of Barbara Marie Kuhni

Barbara, 76, was born in Johnstown, PA on June 7, 1935 and died in Colorado Springs, May 8, 2012. After a hard fight, she lost her 8 month battle with cancer at home with her daughters by her side.She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Catholic Daughters for 45 years, and recently served as Treasurer of St. Dominic's Chapter; Red Hat Ladies and many ladies card groups. Barbara enjoyed Golfing, Bowling and trips to Vegas & Cripple Creek. She is survived by: The "Kuhni Girls" and their families, Darleen (Chuck) Kroll of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Cindy (Michael) Elliott of Denver, Colorado, Debbie (Gerald) Wilson of Pueblo, Colorado and KK (Bryan) Batt of South Carolina; grandkids, Jeremiah Wilson, Sam and Haley Kroll, Alec and Jay Elliott, Kassy & Kaity Batt and her brother, Tom Pilot.Barbara was preceded in death by the love of her life of 50 years, Al Kuhni.Visitation 3:00PM-5:00PM, Sunday, May 13, 2012 followed by Rosary at 5:00PM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 10:00AM, St. Dominic Catholic Church, followed by a reception lunch.Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 2:00PM. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area A, in Denver.
