Obituary of Harvey E. Lange

Harvey was born in Chicago, Illinois to William & Genevieve Lange on December 25, 1927. He married Nancy Smith and they were married for over 25 years, he lost her in 1985 and never remarried. Together they raised four children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Harvey died on May 10, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and leaves behind his children, Kathy (Glenn) Phipps, David Lange, and Dale (Rebecca) Lange. Harvey's daughter Vicky Lange presided him in death. Grandchildren, Faatimah Ann Mclemore, Christine Gonzales, Jeremy Phipps, Kireon Lange, Zachary Lange, Ryan Lange, Samantha Lange, Bailie Lange, Andrew Lange, and eight great-grandchildren.Harvey was a proud family man and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. There wasn't a school musical or function he didn't like or enjoy. Harvey was always active with his life after he retired and enjoyed staying busy with assorted carpentry jobs and yard work. Harvey's main attribute was his charming easy going personality. This personality was very apparent by the many, many friends he had made over his lifetime.
