Obituary of Leonard Paul Gagnon
Leonard Paul Gagnon was born March 11, 1945 in Fitchburg, MA and passed away May 17, 2012 at his home in Colorado Springs, CO.Lenny served in the U.S. Army for 23 years. He retired as a 1SG and was a Vietnam Veteran who received numerous commendations and medals for his service to our country.He then enjoyed a second career as Transportation Manager with Taylor Farms, retiring after 22 years. He maintained close friendships with many at Taylor Farms after he retired in 2010.Lenny is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda, three sons, Glenn, Dale, and Dennis, one daughter, Julie, three grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessi, and Adam, and one brother, Daniel of Bow New Hampshire.Lenny was a gun enthusiast, an avid motorcyclist, and loved riding and attending various veterans rallies.In lieu of flowers, donations in Lenny's memory can be made to Penrose Cancer Center, Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, Odyssey Hospice, or Disabled American Veterans.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, CO.Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012, 10:00AM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E.
