Obituary of Marion "Mac" Swanson McDorman

Marion Swanson McDorman was born May 20, 1932 in Harrisonburg, Virginia."Mac" was a world traveler. He wrote and produced country music. A career member of the U.S. Army, he retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer and served in Vietnam. Mac is survived by his sons, Peter Marion McDorman, and Richard Martin (Jennifer) McDorman; grandsons, Tyler Evan McDorman, Braden Martin (Teresa) McDorman and Shawn Richard McDorman; grandaughter Diandra Catalina Guren; and great-grandson Akadyan James McDorman.He is preceded in death by his wife Reinhilde "Hilde", and his parents Claude and Iva.Remembrance Reception will be held from 4PM - 7PM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 3110 Wesley Place, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917.Graveside Service, 2:00PM, Friday, March 1, 2019, Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
