Obituary of Teddy Lee Allison
Ted and Mary Ann Allison passed into the arms of their Savior as a result of a car accident that occurred on August 12, 2012. Teddy Lee Allison and Mary Ann Stevenson were both born in Kansas. They met in Tribune, Kansas and were married on July 7, 1963. They later moved to the west side of Colorado Springs where they spent the remainder of their lives, enjoying over 49 years of marriage.Ted worked as an electronics technician at Hewlett Packard. He was an active HAM radio operator with the call sign of N0NKG. Mary Ann was a beloved mother and homemaker and worked as an accountant at Young Life.Ted and Mary Ann were known for their love of family, friends and God. They both were extremely physically active with Ted running and bicycling and Mary Ann walking with legendary speed. They loved to travel and camp in their motorhome and visit family and friends. Ted and Mary Ann are survived by their children, Stan Allison and Stacy Schaut, by Mary Ann's mother, Mary Stevenson, by Mary Ann's siblings, Lavern Stevenson and Venita Schlotfeldt, and by Ted's brother, Bobby Allison. They are preceded in death by their young sons, Jeffrey Wayne Allison and Baby Boy Allison, by Ted's parents, Ernest and Bula Allison, by Mary Ann's father, Friend Stevenson, and by Ted's siblings, Betty Jo Adams and Rosemary Brunner.Visitation will take place from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, August 23, 2012 at The Springs Funeral Services located at 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs.Funeral Services will take place at 10:00AM, Friday, August 24, 2012 at Friendship Assembly of God Church located at 3685 New Center Point, Colorado Springs.
