Obituary of Jerald Ray Cook
Jerald Ray Cook of Monument passed away on September 8, 2012. He was a resident of the Colorado Springs area for 30 years. A devoted father and faithful friend, a man who held great responsibility with grace and humility. Loved by all who knew him. His great passion's being for music, stereos and cars, but above all being with his family and friends. We will forever honor and cherish our memories of him. To the most honorable man we knew, goodbye and we love you!He is survived by his wife Devona "Dev" G. Cook (Wyne) of 32 years; his son, Christopher Aaron Cook of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Rhiannon Michele Cook and grandson Anthony (AJ) Sterger Jr. of Peyton, Colorado; two brothers, Leonard (Lonnie)McCoy Cook of Grand Prairie, Texas. and Patrick McDonough of Keiser, Washington; nephew, Lonnie Cook Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas, and his aunt Genevieve Verble Judd of Woodland Park, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Lee Cook and sisters Irene Cook and Jeraldine Cook. Visitation from 4PM-6PM, Friday, September 14, 2012 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave. Colorado Springs.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Living Faith Church – The Nazarene, 2120 King Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Springs Rescue Mission or Human Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
