Obituary of William Ollie Trulock, Jr.

Bill was born August 4, 1956 in Lumberton, NC to William & Betty Trulock. He passed away on September 17, 2012 in Colorado Springs, CO.He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Diana Randall; daughters, Stephanie Trulock, Jennifer Trulock; son, William O. Trulock, III; sisters, Cathy Trulock, Mary Anne Trulock, Dorene Palmer, Tammy Maben, Lorie Atrim, and Beverly Harris; brother, Mitch Trulock, his aunt, Betty Bishop, and many nieces/nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.Bill was very proud of his Native American heritage; he was both Cherokee and Blackfoot. Bill served in the US Navy from Dec 1973-Nov 1975, serving in the Helicopter Combat Squadron 3, out of North Island in San Diego, California, as an Airman. He served in Vietnam and was a Disabled American Vet and an American Legion Member.Bill enjoyed coin collecting and was a member of the American Numismatic Association.Bill met Diana in Oklahoma and they were married in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 4, 1993. They followed Diana's military career living at Ft. Buchannan, Puerto Rico 1993-1996, St. Peters, Missouri 1996-2000, and Orlando, Florida from 2000-2006. They made their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado since 2006.Bill earned his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering while living in Washington State. He has been a stay at home dad since daughter Stephanie was born in 1996. He enjoyed the outdoors and living in Colorado.
