Obituary of Kenneth L. Crane

Kenneth "Kelly" Crane passed from this world to be with his precious Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is enjoying a long-awaited reunion with his wife and love of his life, Eleanor; his mother and father, Albert and Edna Crane; his three brothers, Ralph, Jack and Gordon; and his sister, Jane "Sis" Waller. Anyone who knew him was touched by his warmth and kindness. He made friends wherever he was – in his real estate business, in the churches he dearly loved; First Church of the Nazarene, Pasadena, California and The Rock, Anaheim, California. He was always positive and optimistic, believing the best about everyone. Kelly leaves behind his loving family - daughter, Connie Shaffer and son Stephen Crane and his wife, LuAnne, as well as three sisters-in-law; Virginia Fix, Peach Crane and Alice Crane; and seven grandchildren of whom he was so proud, Nathanael Shaffer, Nicolas Shaffer, Noel Shaffer, Annette Intveld, Trevor Crane, Kenny Crane, and Robbie Crane. The family would like to extend our most sincere thanks to the many caregivers, friends and nursing staff both in California and Colorado who have supported us these past months. We are grateful for your hands of love.He has left us an invaluable legacy of an unwavering heart for God. He was a spiritual rock to all with whom he came in contact and his wise guidance will be deeply missed.
