MATHOU JOSEF VALENCIANOBorn in Inglewood, California on September 8, 1993Went home to God on December 6, 2012, in Colorado Springs, Colorado Services to be held on December 15, 2012 at 5:30 pm at the Springs Funeral Services located at 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909. Their phone number is 719 328-1793. Beloved child of Rochelle Trueman and son of Eladio Valenciano. Big brother to Jordan Trueman. Grandson of Robin Daigneault and Scott Dinardi. Nephew to Christoper Dinardi. Mathou had a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins, who loved him dearly. Mathou had many interests in life. His first love was skateboarding, he also loved being in the ROTC program during his high school days. He as a writer of stories and songs, a poet and an artist. the world and people around him inspired his abilities. The impact and memory of Mathou's short life will continue to live on in all those that loved him, all of the friends that cared about him, and the people he met in his wanderings. He had a very sensitive soul; he took care of and watched out for his family, and always found the good in his friends and the people he met. Mathou's thoughtfulness and consideration for others came out though his deeds. Mathou would do little special things such as making coffee for his mother in the morning, hanging out with his mother and brother watching movies and eating junk food, picking flowers for his Grammy, and leaving them in a little glass of water for her to find in the morning, and trying to teach his little brother to skateboard (who looked up to Mathou and tried to emulate his positive attributes). Mathou had a special way of saying I love you to his mother and grandmother. He would hold our hand and squeeze is twice, that meant I love you. Even his grandmother's dog sparkie was in love with him. He was the only one she would pull back her gums and smile for whenever he came home. He was the sun in our lives, and will be missed everyday by those who knew and loved him for the rest of their lives.
