Obituary of Paul S. Cottrell

Paul was born April 27, 1948 in Phoenix AZ and grew up in Pueblo Colorado. He graduated from Pueblo Centennial in 1966. He enlisted in the United States Air Force proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War era. He was self employed in the construction industry until 1989 when he began employment with the Department of Defense till retirement.Paul greatly enjoyed golfing, tennis, music, fishing, reading and writing. He truly was an avid sports fan always proud of his teams. Knowing at this time that the Denver Broncos are a top ranked team, the Fighting Irish had an undefeated season, and his Gonzaga Bulldogs are in the top 25 again, brought him happiness and a smile to his face. Everyone close to Paul knew him as a soul winner and a jokester. He spoke his mind and meant what he said with no regrets. He loved God and enjoyed spreading His love. Paul is survived by his wife Vickkie, his sons Bryan, Andrew and daughter in law Lyndsi, his granddaughters Cali and Raelyn, and his brother Andy Cottrell, niece Tamara and nephew Rick Cottrell.He was preceded in death by his father and mother Delbert and Mary Cottrell.
