Obituary of Marvin Enoch Hamilton

Marvin E. Hamilton born at Tacony, Colorado to Marvin F. and M. Arlie (Kenney) Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton spent his entire life in the Edison Community farming and ranching.He was married July 24, 1946 in Raton, New Mexico to Evelyn E. (Surber) Gosage who predeceased him on January 8, 1985.Survivors are sons, David Hamilton of Yoder, Colorado; Jim Hamilton and Gary Gosage of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Marge Calu also of Colorado Springs; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Mr. Hamilton was also predeceased by his parents; a sister, Maxine Michael; a brother, Shorty Hamilton; a daughter and son-in-law Betty and C.D. McConnaughey, and five grandchildren.Mr. Hamilton was a member of the Edison School Board for 24 years and a member of Colorado Cattlemen's Association for many years.
