Obituary of Ronald Jay Brinkmeier

Ron passed away on February 11, 2013 after a long illness. Ron was born in Limon, Colorado on January 21, 1944 and remained in Colorado Springs his entire life. He was employed by the US Postal Department until 1985 and worked for the city of Colorado Springs and Walmart part time as his health permitted. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marian Brinkmeier. Surviving family members include his wife of 45 years, Judy, son Joseph Jay (wife Sandy) and daughter Jennifer Lynn; four grandchildren, Joshua, Cayla, Beth and Elyssa: in-laws, Ruth and Harold Hopkins and brother in-law, Harold Hopkins, Jr. Ron was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
