Our deepest condolences Kelly, Brooke, Austin, and family. It was a privilege to work with, and learn from, Jeff. Dedicated and principled, Jeff exemplified teamwork and hard work. I miss his sense of humor and unceasing scrutiny of what should be done versus what can be done. So long as there are people that care about othersand of what is right and fairthere will always be a part of Jeff with us.

Oooh Dearest Davis Family! How our heart is aching for you all and ourselves. We have been blessed to be part of your lives and Jeff was such a gift to us in our hockey adventures together. Sometimes the season would start to get long and he never seemed to show the wear tear! Always there ready to go. He was an outstanding coach and friend. You guys always made us feel like we were coming home everytime we walked into the rink and even now with us so far away and even though we don't get to keep up with everything everyday it's like we never skip a beat. We can't imagine coming home and Jeff not being there. Even with that in mind it is comforting to know he is at peace and no longer in pain. He will definitely be missed! Lots of Love and Hugs from our entire family, Heidi, Chad, Hayden, Kaymon, Alani, and Ellyannah

Dear Davis family, My heart aches for you but please remember the words from William Wordsworth -- Splendour in the Grass What though the radiance which was once so bright Be now for ever taken from my sight, Though nothing can bring back the hour Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower, We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind; In the primal sympathy Which having been must ever be; In the soothing thoughts that spring Out of human suffering; In the faith that looks through death, In years that bring the philosophic mind.

Jeff was a good friend and coworker whom I knew through the GPS program first, and then as a fellow Scitorian. One heckuva smart guy and hard worker, I will miss his introspection on our conversations of politics and the state of Air Force Space Command, the Air Force and our country. I pray his memory will bring joy to those who knew him as they recall the time we had and were blessed to be with him and not that he is gone. May the thought of Jeff always bring a smile to your face and joy to your hearts as I know he will mine.---matt

It was an honor and privilege to have worked with Jeff. I always appreciated his ability to observe a situation/problem and recommend a logical path to the solution. I was also blessed to have known him on a personal level and still smile when I reflect on some of the A5X Great Debates we engaged in. Jeff left a tremendous mark and impression on everybody he interacted with and he will be profoundly and openly missed. Jeff left this earthly world way too soon but I am sure he is preparing a path for his family and friends.

Kelly, Your marriage to Jeff grew and improved the Carlson family by one very good man, and now it doesn't feel whole or right without him. I so wanted this fight to have a different ending. I am sending you prayers of strength, as you have already had to use more than your fair share. I am glad my dad will be there. Sending love, Anna

Jeff was a really great guy who did so much work helping to shape the AFSPC future through well-articulated concepts. I especially enjoyed working with him on developing an Innovation Strategy and Implementation Plan where the group had many heated discussions on how it should be done. Jeff was always the cool voice of reason. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff's family. Col Todd Parks
