Obituary of Kenneth R. Youngblood

Kenneth Reno Youngblood, of Colorado Springs was born December 28th, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to James and Oretha Youngblood. He lived in Colorado Springs for 31 years. He passed away on April 23rd, 2013 at his home. He had a passion for music. He loved to sing and play piano and keyboard. He played at many clubs with his band Jamaican Eclipse in the Colorado Springs area. He was a very friendly and outgoing person making many friends where ever he went. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Charlene, son James, and daughter Natasha, stepdaughters Shawna Patterson of Lawton, Oklahoma and Heidi Frazer of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and four grandchildren, Mycal, Alysha, and Tyana Patterson, and Tessa Frazer, stepmother Bertha Youngblood, stepsister Jackie Batten, sister-in-law Ruby Clark, and mother-in-law LaVonne Rusch.Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 5th, 2013 at 3pm at Salem Lutheran Church at 4318 N Chestnut St, Colorado Springs, Colorado 719-599-0200.
