Obituary of Lester "Tim" Celestino Lightfoot

Lester Celestino "Tim" Lightfoot passed away at home Sunday, May 5, 2013. Tim was a lifelong Colorado Springs resident born to George and Ramona Lightfoot on February 10, 1948 at St. Francis Hospital. Tim was the fifth of six siblings. He attended Lowell Elementary, South Junior High School and graduated from Palmer High School.Tim was an accomplished Chef and extended his knowledge of the industry at the Broadmoor Hotel for some 20 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Broadmoor Pioneer Club.Tim had many interests and hobbies which included the making of jewelry and walking sticks, however his greatest joy came by being a longtime, devoted Denver Bronco fan. The happiest times for Tim were spent with his family and friends. Tim is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Jackie Lightfoot, his seven grandchildren Alexis, Sherman, Selena Barraza - Lightfoot, Desiree, Joshua Jr., Jasmine, Carlos and Josiah Lightfoot. His sisters Mrs. Erniestine Levine of Dayton, Ohio and Ms. Patricia E. Lightfoot of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Tim was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ramona Lightfoot, his daughter, Angel S. Lightfoot and infant daughter Mary Elizabeth Lightfoot.
