I will always remember Aunt Mary as spry and healthy taking me and other relatives up the hill at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I recall her laughing as she easily left most of us behind. I can almost hear her laugher still. May God's blessings be with her and all who knew and loved her.

Mom taught us humility and giving of ones self to community for the love of giving. If she met a stranger it wasn't long till she knew their life story, she was a friend to all. Mom was a women who was very generous with time to the community. She was friendly to all she came into contact with and therefore had friends all around the country. Mom showed us love,humility and compassion for others and sharing her love for God with us. We miss you but rejoice that you are with your Heavenly Father.

I always enjoyed being around Grandma Mary. I am so glad that I got to know her and be a part of her family. I am sad that Abbilyn won't remember her Great Grandma. But we were very blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with her over the last few weeks. So we have a lot of pictures and videos that we can show Abbilyn and tell her about Great Grandma Mary. She will be missed greatly. We can't wait until the day when we see each other again.

I just arrived home to read my e-mails and saw Sherry's about Aunt Mary. We tried to call Gloria and Bob earlier in the week but could not get through. We are really sad to lose the last of the Stocking brothers and sisters. We have so many wonderful memories of our families together, going back to Kansas and all the family reunions. We will really miss her. What a wonderful group of brothers and sisters. Grandma Maud and Grandpa Elmer did a great job. We are proud to be a part of the Stocking clan. Mary is remembered so fondly, She spent so much time and energy helping so many people and organizations. She never seemed to let situations get the best of her but she made the best of each situation. She was always encouraging to me. I will miss her greatly.

To my dear cousins: It was sad to learn that Aunt Mary has passed away. She was a very special aunt and I loved the chance to see her at reunions, especially the last one. It was so good for my mom and me to get a chance to talk to her last week. She sounded great... just like Aunt Mary. I'm just sad that all of my father's siblings are now gone. How blessed we were to have this wonderful generation as our parents. I know you will all miss her so much. Please know that my love and prayers are with you. Suzanne

My Aunt Mary Metcalf, was loving, bright, loyal, and so much fun!!Every Christmas I received joyous cards highlighting her wonderful achievements during the year. What an amazing mother who raised two wonderful daughters and 2 sons who are a testament to her encouragement and unconditional love. Her charitable work for different organizations amazed me well into her 80s.My heartfelt condolences go out to Joyce, Judy, John and Keith. Remember she is always with you and is now with her beloved husband Don, my father Guy, Gould and Grace.I look forward to seeing them all again someday. love her niece Carol Metcalf MFT
